Seally Lake Camping Experience!

So, my sister Nicole talked us all into going camping at Seally Lake. I hadn't been there since I was in high school, and Jon and the kids had never been there. We borrowed a tent and all headed out for one of the most beautiful places on earth. We were a bit nervous about the kids in the tent, but it actually worked out great. My parents were there with their trailer and my sister and her family with their tent. We went for a hike to the Holland Falls on our first full day there, which was just as fantastic as I remembered, except for the fact that it was 105 degrees that day. In all my 21 years living in Montana, I don't EVER remember it getting that hot! Jon started out the hike with Cayden on his back in the baby backpack, and within the first quarter of a mile, he started carrying Halie, too, since she was so wiped out from all the fun we were having camping. That's almost 3 miles he went carrying both kids! Very impressive!
The next day, we spent some time at the beach. Halie LOVED it, although she was a bit nervous in the lake water, especially after a beaver swam within 10 feet of us!
The whole experience was a blast...making ice cream in ziplocs (my sister Nicole is a GENIUS!), roasting marshmallows and making S'mores, watching my dad make one of his famous breakfasts, singing campfire songs (for those of you wondering...no, Jon had no part in that!), and going without a shower for 2 days...what could be better?! The only thing missing was the Huckelberries. I think we were too early, but maybe next year!
